Who we are
How a love of art, travel, and the timeless beauty of New Orleans became a boutique guest house where history, hospitality, and celebration come together

The Story Behind The Dragonfly Tremé
The Dragonfly Tremé was born from two lifelong passions: creating beauty as a visual artist and exploring the world and culture through travel. Years ago, a stay in a small bed and breakfast in Old San Juan, Puerto Rico sparked the vision. Set beside a centuries-old seaside fort, the historic home felt like stepping into another time—and inspired a dream of creating a place where history, art, and hospitality could come together.
After years as a decorative painter transforming homes and interiors, I chose to shift my focus toward building a more sustainable creative life. That path led to The Dragonfly Tremé, a historic 1882 property lovingly restored and reimagined as a place of beauty, connection, and experience.
Since opening in 2015, it has been a family endeavor, shaped alongside my son and brought to life through years of dedication and care.
Today, we are honored to share this home with guests—and especially with couples celebrating one of life’s most meaningful moments in a place created with heart.
